Little Pomona Orchard + Cidery
  • Little Pomona Orchard + Cidery

Little Pomona was set up in late 2014, on a small five-acre piece of land in northern Herefordshire, below an ancient hill fort overlooking the Malvern Hills. The cidery is named after Pomona, the Roman goddess of fruit trees and the orchard. A wholly natural approach to cider making is at the core of everything they do.

The team hand pick and hand select each apple and age the fruit in small crates until the balance of acid, sugars, tannins and fruit is just right before milling and then pressing. They ferment with natural yeast, and wait until the cider says it’s ready before release with no water or sugar additions and no pasteurisation, filtration or artificial carbonation.
