Lane Cottage Produce

Lane Cottage Produce is based on a smallholding in the beautiful rolling hills of North Herefordshire. Founded in 2011 by Richard and Amanda Sidgwick as a Market Garden. Since 2013 they have specialized in growing unusual salad leaves.
They grow over 20 different varieties in polytunnels to extend the growing season. They choose varieties for flavour and love to experiment with new ones. The leaves are pesticide-free and grown traditionally, using only natural fertilizers, they are also watered with the smallholding's own mineral-rich water. Although much harder to grow this way Richard and Amanda believe you can taste the difference and feel the health benefits. They are 100% good for you!
Lane Cottage's wonderfully tasty salad leaves are completely different to anything else on the market and they were recently finalists in The Young British Foodie Awards 2017. You can find them at good independent food shops and restaurants throughout Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and Powys.
